A few weeks ago I started recording our congregational singing to use as background music or just for the family to listen to at home or in the car. That’s why there’s a large microphone sitting on the desk in front of me in the sermon videos. It also serves as a backup recording of the sermon if the wireless microphone runs out of battery or the camera fails for whatever reason.
Right now it sounds more like a solo with some back-up vocals but hopefully as our church grows and the members become more confident with singing (or we have a better recording set up) the audio will also be more balanced =].
The dream one day would be to have our church singing the songs in parts. A ‘dream’ I say, and not a goal, because I haven’t figured out yet the plan to get there… I had an idea to have a song night on a Friday now and then but I haven’t really done anything with it.
So for those of you that are interested, I’ve uploaded these to the Google Drive so you can download them and use them however you like. I hope they are a blessing to you and your family.

Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
