These are the values we seek to uphold to create a godly culture in our church, fulfil our mission and achieve our vision.

Our mission is the Great Commission – to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ by preaching the gospel, baptising believers and making disciples through the teaching of God’s word.

Our vision is a growing community of bible-believing Christians who are passionate about the Great Commission and have a godly impact in the local area.

Love the Lord

The love of God and a love for God is what inspires us, motivates us and gives us our sense of duty. We are thankful for what God has done for us and continues to do for us. It is more than just words and emotion, we study his word and obey his commandments. We love what is true and hate what is false.

Matthew 22:37-38 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment.

1 John 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us.

2 Corinthians 5:14-15 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

Psalm 136:1 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

1 John 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

2 John 6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

Psalm 119:128 Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.

A Burden for the Lost

Everyone answers the call of God to be a soul-winner. We not only desire souls to be saved but we are grieved by the reality that many souls are not. Preaching the gospel is our grave responsibility, committed unto us by the Lord Jesus Christ, and souls will be saved because of our efforts.

Isaiah 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

1 Corinthians 9:16 For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!

Jeremiah 20:9 Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.

Romans 9:1-3 I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost, That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart. For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:

Work Diligently

We do all things for the glory of God. We are faithful, reliable, hard-working, and always give our best. We are proactive, responsible and take initiative. We have high standards for ourselves and for our children.

Matthew 25:21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Luke 16:10 He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.

1 Corinthians 10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

Serve with Joy

Everyone has a ministry. Everyone plays a part in the Great Commission. Every member of the church is important. We serve the Lord with joy and humility.

Philippians 2:5-7 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

Ephesians 4:16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

Psalm 100:2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

Lead By Example

We do what we say and say what we mean. We are not hypocrites. We do what we expect others to do. Everyone strives to be a leader and example to someone, no matter their age or gender.

1 Timothy 4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

1 Peter 5:2-3 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.

Titus 2:3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

Always Be Growing

We strive for perfection and never stop growing in love, grace, faith, knowledge, zeal, committment and works.

2 Peter 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

1 Peter 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

Hebrews 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Fear God Not Man

We are known as Christians in our circles of influence. We are bold in the face of tribulation and persecution and are not ashamed of the good works we do. We prioritise the things of God and do not conform to the things of this world.

Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Galatians 1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
